-It’s nice to get to drive on the fast stages of Jyväskylä, and a big thank you for my cooperation partners for making it happen. We have driven here a few times before, so I’m familiar with the event. We aren’t setting any specific goals at this time, we’ll see how it goes throughout the weekend. Podium would be a great achievement, but a lot of drivers share that same mind set.
Asunmaa had a break of bit over a month between the last FRC round held in Pohjanmaa and Secto Rally Finland. The three-time FRC champion does not believe this to affect his pace this weekend.
-We haven’t had too much time for holidays. Of course a break from events makes the routine a bit harder to pick up, but I doubt it’ll have any major effect.
On the week before Secto Rally Finland Asunmaa was testing with his Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo. The setup for Jyväskylä is on the same field as in FRC events.
